For tonight, a Small Craft Advisory may be required for at least a portion of our marine district along with the possibility of scattered thunderstorms for our entire county warning area. Furthermore, locally heavy rainfall is likely tonight. The primary thunderstorm hazards will be cloud to surface lighting strikes and strong gusty winds, especially tonight when Special Marine Warnings may be necessary for wind gusts of 40 mph or higher. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY For Saturday and Saturday night, low pressure north of the Yucantan Channel is expected to intensify as it tracks north northwestward, resulting in strengthening southerly winds and increasing thunderstorm coverage.
