...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN JASPER...SOUTHERN
NEWTON AND NORTHERN SMITH COUNTIES UNTIL 645 PM CDT...

At 616 PM CDT, Meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from Lawrence to near Pineville to White Oak.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Lawrence, Pineville and Roberts around 620 PM CDT.
  Newton and Garlandville around 630 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Montrose, Louin and
Hickory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
