ROBESON COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM EDT...
At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms near Wakulla, or 7 miles southwest of Red Springs,
moving east at 10 mph.
Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Red Springs, Pembroke, Maxton, St. Pauls, Smiths,
Howellsville, Bladen Community College, Tolarsville, Duart, Ammon,
Shannon, Buie, Robeson Community College, Tobermory, Wakulla, Ruskin,
Barker Ten Mile, White Oak and Prospect.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
