This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon along a cold
front located roughly along Interstate 70 and move southeast. Some of
these storms will become severe with large to giant sized hail,
damaging winds, flash flooding and perhaps a tornado.

Tonight, a thunderstorm complex will move out of northeast Colorado
and into the remainder of the area through the evening and
overnight hours. Some of these storms may produce damaging wind gusts
and large hail, as well as flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms across much of the
area Friday and Friday night with a slight risk of severe weather
from Yuma to Trenton northward. Locally heavy rainfall and the
possibility of flash flooding will also exist.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN GOVE COUNTY UNTIL
630 PM CDT...

At 551 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles west of Gove, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Gove
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
