The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Gillespie County in south central Texas...
  Llano County in south central Texas...

* Until 1230 AM CDT Tuesday

* At 623 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain across the 
  warned area. Three to five inches of rain have fallen since 
  midnight. The emergency management in Llano County is reporting 
  flooded roads in areas not normally seen as low water crossings. 
  The Llano County sheriff is responding to numerous calls of 
  stranded motorists due to water over roadways. With rainfall 
  expected into the overnight hours flash flooding will continue. 
  Flooded roadways are difficult to recognize at night so Llano 
  County emergency management is encouraging people to stay off the 
  roads after dark and to always turn around don't drown. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Fredericksburg, Kingsland, Llano, Buchanan Dam, Gainesville,
  Horseshoe Bay, Buchanan Lake Village, Castell, Field Creek,
  Tivydale, Bluffton, Baby Head, Stolz, Crabapple, Oxford, Cherry
  Spring, Lone Grove, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Doss and
  Valley Spring.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT FOR
GILLESPIE AND LLANO COUNTIES...

At 812 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding in 
around Llano and Gillespie Counties. County Road 414 at Pecan Creek 
in Llano County has been washed out with multiple county roads, 
including County Roads 404, 405, 408, and 409 also closed to 
flooding. Several County Roads have also been reported closed in 
Gillespie County with DriveTexas.org reporting Ranch-to-Market roads 
648 and 783 closed as well as Farm-to-Market 2093. LCRA gauges 
report 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past three hours and 
additional rainfall is expected over already saturated ground this 
evening. Flash flooding is already occurring.
