* At 1036 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Parts of the Interstate 35
corridor saw between one and four inches of rainfall early this
morning from the first round of precipitation. An additional one
to three inches of rainfall is possible with this next round of
thunderstorms across the warned area. Because of this isolated
flash flooding is possible.

Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels, Cedar Park, Georgetown, San
Marcos, Pflugerville, Kyle, Seguin, Buda, Lockhart, Elgin,
Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Anderson Mill, Austin Bergstrom Int
Airport, Windemere, Canyon Lake Dam and Leander.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
