The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
  Bexar County in south central Texas...
  Central Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 100 PM CDT

* At 953 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Parts of northern Bexar County 
  and Western Comal County saw between two and three inches of 
  rainfall overnight. A quick one to three inches of additional 
  rainfall is expected with this complex of thunderstorms which 
  could lead to isolated flash flooding. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, Live
  Oak, Selma, Stinson Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport,
  Randolph AFB, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch,
  Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Bulverde and Garden
  Ridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

  Southwestern Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
  Bexar County in south central Texas...
  Central Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 300 PM CDT

* At 1251 PM CDT, doppler radar shows a few showers remaining across 
  Bexar and Comal Counties. While the bulk of the precipitation has 
  pushed east of the area, a few scattered showers or thunderstorms 
  are possible through the early afternoon hours. Flooding of 
  streets and low water crossings will also continue through the 
  early afternoon across the warned area as water begins to 
  recede. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, Live
  Oak, Selma, Stinson Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport,
  Randolph AFB, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch,
  Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Bulverde and Garden
  Ridge.

Additional rainfall amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch 
are possible in the warned area through two o'clock this afternoon.
