There is a high risk of dangerous rip currents along Gulf facing
beaches today.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible today and tonight
across South Texas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

The rip current risk is expected to remain at least moderate through
the middle part of the week.

Thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday through Thursday across
South Texas. Strong to severe storms are possible Wednesday
afternoon into early Thursday morning. Damaging winds and large
hail will be primary hazards.
