...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN
PORTAGE...MAHONING AND EASTERN STARK COUNTIES...

At 552 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 7 miles south of Ravenna to near
Hartville to near Louisville to 6 miles southeast of Canton to
Waynesburg. Movement was east at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Canton, Youngstown, Salem, Columbiana, Boardman, Alliance,
Louisville, Campbell, Canfield, Sebring, Minerva, Hartville,
Waynesburg, East Sparta, Austintown, Struthers, Randolph, Atwater,
Edinburg and Poland.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
