...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT CATTARAUGUS...SOUTHERN ERIE AND
NORTHEASTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 404 PM EDT, an area of heavy snow was located along a line from
near Dunkirk to Cassadaga.  This area of heavy snow is moving east.
Locations impacted include... Dunkirk, Fredonia, Salamanca, Allegany
State Park, Evans, Eden, Springville, Gowanda, Silver Creek and
Ashford. During this heavy snowfall, a quick 1 to 2 inches of
snow accumulation can be expected.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between exits 59 and 58.
 Interstate 86 between exits 19 and 23.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this area of heavy snow.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
