East central Lewis County in central New York... * Until 1000 PM EDT. * At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two and half inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Lewis County, including near and along the Independence River and Otter Creek.
