...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ENTERING FRANKLIN COUNTY...

At 1045 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles north of Heath to near Pittsfield.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and torrential downpours will accompany
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Greenfield, Deerfield, Montague, Sunderland, Northfield,
Williamsburg, Bernardston, Buckland, Conway, Shelburne, Erving,
Ashfield, Colrain, Gill, Whately, Charlemont, Royalston,
Chesterfield, Worthington and Goshen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Get indoors when these storms approach. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.

Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying
areas near small streams.

a line extending from Northfield to near Worthington. Movement was
east at 45 mph.

these storms.
