At 437 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Heflin, moving south at 5 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Heflin, Delta, Barfield, Lake Cleburne, Hollis Crossroads, Micaville,
Chalafinnee and Camp Sequoyah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

CENTRAL BIBB COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CDT...

At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lake Wildwood to near Woodstock to near
West Blocton. Movement was southwest at 10 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Tuscaloosa, Brent, Centreville, Holt, Lake View, Brookwood, Coaling,
Vance, Woodstock, West Blocton, West Centreville, McFarland Mall,
Shelton State Community College, Lake Wildwood, University Mall,
Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, Eoline, North Bibb, Englewood and
Cottondale.
