This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible into the evening, mainly north of
Interstate 90. A few storms could be strong to severe with large
hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall.

Heat indices of 90 to 100 this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heat Advisory Saturday afternoon into Sunday evening.

Heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees during the afternoon hours
Saturday and Sunday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances through the weekend, mainly north
of Interstate 90. Heavy rain is likely with the storms, with the
potential for large hail and damaging winds.

There are additional storm chances Monday and Tuesday.

At 1013 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast
of Millston, or 9 miles north of Tomah, moving southeast at 20 mph.

Nickel size hail is possible with this storm.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL JUNEAU COUNTY...

At 1044 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Lisbon, or
11 miles northwest of Mauston, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
New Lisbon, Necedah, Camp Douglas, Kelly, Cutler, Hustler, Kens
Marina And Campground, The Necedah Wildlife Refuge, and Volk Field.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
