...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions occurring. Travel will be very 
  difficult. Expect damage to trees and power lines as well. 
  Additional snow accumulations of up to two inches are expected.

* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 65 mph will 
  cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant 
  drifting of the snow is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you.If you get stranded, stay
with your means of transportation.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM AKST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills 
  will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed 
  skin. Expect wind chills to range from 20 below zero to 45 
  below zero.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta and Bristol Bay.

* WHEN...Now to 11 AM this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold temperatures and gusty north winds
  will combine to produce wind chill values as low as 45 below
  zero through this morning. Conditions will gradually improve
  during the afternoon as temperatures begin to rise..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
