South central Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 415 PM MST * At 108 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Nogales Sonora where one inch of rain has fallen in 15 minutes. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in Nogales Arizona. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nogales, Rio Rico Southeast and Rio Rico Southwest. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
