feet by early Sunday afternoon. The river is expected to fall below
flood stage late Monday morning.
* Impact...At 39.0 feet, severe depths of flooding of crop and
pasturelands occur from Shady Point to Arkoma. Several roads
crossing the Poteau River are totally impassable.

afternoon and continue to rise to near 361.7 feet by Sunday
morning.The river will fall below flood stage by late Tuesday
morning.
* Impact...At 363.0 feet, patrolling of McLean Bottom Levee in Logan
County and Lower Hartman Levee in Johnson County begins. Flooding
spreads over more than 4,000 acres in Franklin and Logan Counties.
Numerous gas fields are flooded. Some agricultural lands in Johnson

* At 2:15 PM Monday, the stage was 21.68 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring but the river is falling.
* Forecast...The Deep Fork River near Beggs will continue falling to
below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, moderate flooding of pasture lands occurs.
County roads south of Beggs and suburban roads northwest of
Okmulgee are covered by water.

* At 2:00 PM Monday, the stage was 358.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 357.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling to below flood stage
this evening.
* Impact...At 357.0 feet, flooding affects agricultural use lands
along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County.
Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and
livestock should be moved to higher ground. North 5th Street in
Logan County near the Six Mile Levee begins to flood and may cut
off access to a nearby residence.

Radar shows cold front now extending from western Ottawa County, east of Tulsa, down toward McIntosh County. Cold front has also moved past McAlester with winds out of the west. Low clouds extend into western Oklahoma but we should see clearing later in the day from west to east. Cooler and drier air is moving in, with temps in the mid to upper 50s across central and northern OK. Removed all thunder from the forecast, as convection has moved into central Arkansas. We will still see patchy drizzle and light showers this morning with little to no accumulation in Tulsa and points north and west. We have continued areal flood warnings for 11 counties in the forecast area and have allowed all flash flood warnings to expire.
