The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Riley County in northeastern Kansas...

* Until 1215 AM CDT

* At 816 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Doppler radar estimates that up 
  to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
  Riley County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
