moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Several reports of a confirmed tornado with widespread
damage to buildings, homes and vehicles.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

NORTHWESTERN STOKES COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT 545 PM EDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened but still showing
signs of a possible tornado or creating wind and hail damage. This
storm will leave the county in the next 10 minutes. Therefore the
warning will be allowed to expire.
A tornado watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for north
central and northwestern North Carolina...and south central and
southwestern Virginia.
