* At 404 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy showers and
thunderstorms lined up from Marby Mill along the Blue Ridge, south
into the North Carolina piedmont, moving north at 40 mph. These
heavy showers and storms will train off and on over the same
general area, and cause flaash flooding, especially near the Blue
Ridge.
