At 534 AM EDT, an area of showers and thunderstorms were located
across portions of Mingo, southeast Lincoln, Logan and northwestern
Boone Counties. Gauge and radar estimates indicate up to an inch of
rain has fallen across this area during the past few hours.

Locations impacted include...
Williamson, Madison, Logan, Chapmanville, Delbarton, Van, Mount
Gay-Shamrock, Harts, Chief Logan State, Holden, Red Jacket,
Chattaroy, Julian, Danville, Matewan, West Logan, Kermit, Mitchell
Heights, Mount Gay and Chauncey.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
