* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Fremont County in central Colorado...
  Northwestern Custer County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 1100 PM MDT

* At 753 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly. Most of the heavy rain was falling on the east side 
  of the burn scar.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
  Fremont and northwestern Custer Counties.

SOUTHWESTERN FREMONT AND NORTHWESTERN CUSTER COUNTIES...

At 833 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was falling on the 
lower sections of Hayden creek. This heavier rain is gradually 
moving south across the northern sections of the Hayden Pass burn 
scar. 

Radar has estimated up to 0.3 inches has fallen on the northern 
sections of the burn scar. Also, up to 0.25 inches of rain has 
fallen on the eastern sections of the burn scar. As of 838 pm, only 
light accumulations have occurred in the Cottonwood and Butter creek 
drainages.

SOUTHWESTERN FREMONT AND NORTHWESTERN CUSTER COUNTIES...

At 856 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rain was now 
falling over the lower elevations of the Cottonwood Creek drainages 
in the Hayden Pass burn scar. 

Between 0.3 inches and 0.6 inches of rain has fallen on the northern 
and central sections of the burn scar which will affect the Hayden 
creek drainage and the Cottonwood creek drainage.

* Until 100 AM MDT

* At 916 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated the rain has ended over the 
  Junkins burn scar. However, flooding is still occurring but is 
  receding across the burn scar region. 

There is still a chance that additional rain could redevelop over 
the JUnkins burn scar later this evening and into tonight. The 
atmosphere is extremely moist and the potential for additional heavy 
rain cannot be ruled out.

At 947 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain 
continuing over the Hayden pass burn care. between 0.25 to 0.50 
inches of rain has fallen over te burn scar since 8 pm this evening. 

Between 850 pm and 950 pm, between 0.10 and 0.30 inches of rain has 
fallen over the lower Cottonwood creek watershed.
