West central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 845 PM MDT * At 537 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Flash flooding will remain over Junkins Burn scar of mainly rural areas of east central Custer and west central Pueblo Counties. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. This includes the following streams and drainages...South Red Creek...Middle Creek...Yellow Creek...Smith Creek...Bishop Creek... Doppler radar is indicating up to one inch of rain has already fallen across the area, with flash flooding across the Junkins Burn Scar likely occuring. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Hardsrabble drainage. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Custer and west central Pueblo Counties.
