This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Strong to potentially severe thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon and evening for the Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee
Valley. Some of these storms will be capable of producing damaging
wind gusts and hail up to quarter size.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Another storm system will move across the Tennessee Valley
Thursday producing showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms
may become severe across the Plateau and southeast Tennessee by
late afternoon and evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and evening,
and again Thursday.

Sneedville, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
