Michigan and central Upper Michigan.

Thunderstorms are expected at times. Isolated severe storms,
producing damaging winds and large hail, are possible over south
central Upper Michigan this evening.

Widespread heavy rainfall is also possible across the west half of
Upper Michigan into tonight.

Waves building as high as 8 to 12 feet along the Lake Superior
shore over western Upper Michigan late tonight may cause minor
beach erosion.

Waves as high as 8 to 12 feet along the Lake Superior shore on
Thursday may cause minor beach erosion.
