At 116 PM CDT, clusters of strong thunderstorms were located across
southern Covington County, near the Alabama and Florida state line.
One cluster was located 7 miles northwest of Laurel Hill, or 13
miles west of Florala. Another cluster of storms was located
between Stedman and Florala. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Florala, Laurel Hill and Lockhart.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
