...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...SOUTH
CENTRAL CHOCTAW AND NORTHWESTERN CLARKE COUNTIES UNTIL 400 PM CDT...

At 321 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located 10 miles southwest
of Putnam, or 13 miles south of Butler, moving east at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Choctaw and northwestern Clarke Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
