This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Alabama...southwest Alabama...northwest Florida and southeast
Mississippi.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected late this
afternoon and evening mainly along and west of I-65, followed by
another round of scattered showers and storms which move across
the area overnight. A few storms could become strong to possibly
severe, mainly over southeast Mississippi and interior portions
of southwest Alabama late this afternoon and evening. Any storms
that become severe will produce strong wind gusts to near 60 mph
and hail to the size of nickels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

waters of Alabama and northwest Florida.

There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight into
early Sunday morning ahead of and along an approaching cold front.
A few of these storms could be strong with gusty winds with
locally rough seas, frequent lightning and brief heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Moderate to strong winds may create hazardous conditions for small
craft late Sunday into Monday morning.

NORTHWESTERN CHOCTAW COUNTY UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 609 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located over Zero, or 8
miles southeast of Meridian, moving southeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Butler and Lisman.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
