NORTHWESTERN CHOCTAW COUNTY UNTIL 715 PM CDT... At 609 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located over Zero, or 8 miles southeast of Meridian, moving southeast at 20 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Butler and Lisman. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
