The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  North central Indian River County in east central Florida...
  Southwestern Brevard County in Florida...

* Until 230 PM EDT
    
* At 153 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Fellsmere, moving northwest at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  north central Indian River and southwestern Brevard Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL INDIAN RIVER AND
SOUTHWESTERN BREVARD COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has 
been cancelled.  However strong winds and heavy rain are still 
expected as Hurricane Irma lifts northward.

A tornado watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for east central
Florida.
