The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...
  Southeastern Broward County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 815 PM EDT
    
* At 751 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Hallandale, moving west at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  North Miami Beach and Sunny Isles Beach around 755 PM EDT. 
  Hollywood, Hallandale, Aventura, Dania Beach and Ojus around 800 
  PM EDT. 
  North Miami, West Park, Ravenswood Estates and Fort Lauderdale - 
  Hollywood International Airport around 805 PM EDT. 
  Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, Miami Gardens, Miramar Parkway And 
  University Drive, Oak Point, Chambers Estates, Estates Of Fort 
  Lauderdale, Sun Life Stadium and Broadview Park around 810 PM EDT. 
  Davie, Cooper City, Royal Palm Ranches, Sunshine Acres, Nova 
  Southeastern University, Pine Island Ridge and Intersection I-75 
  And Griffin Road around 815 PM EDT.

BROWARD COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 815 PM EDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty winds
and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for southeastern
Florida.
