The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 815 PM EDT
    
* At 729 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near The Redland, moving west at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  central Miami-Dade County, including the following locations: South
  Miami Heights, Howard, Palmetto Estates, Inlikita and Three Lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and

CENTRAL MIAMI-DADE COUNTY...
    
At 749 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Shark Valley Obs Tower, or 11 miles northwest of
Homestead General Airport, moving west at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

Locations impacted include...
Kendall, The Redland, Richmond Heights, Country Walk and Intersection
Krome And Kendall Drive.
