...STRONG WIND GUSTS APPROACHING THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS...

A line of showers marking the leading edge of strong, gusty winds
are approaching the Potomac Highlands. These winds, with gusts up to
50 mph, will reach Allegany County by 9:30 pm, and a line from
Frederick Maryland to Winchester Virginia to Petersburg West
Virginia by 10:30 pm.

The onset of 50 mph wind gusts from the northwest will be sudden.
These winds will be capable of snapping tree limbs resulting in
a few blocked roads and power outages.

Monitor NOAA Weather Radio or local media for the latest weather
observations and any possible warnings.
