This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southeast
Louisiana...South Mississippi and the adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

There is a marginal risk of severe weather this afternoon and
evening for areas along and north of the Interstate 10/12
corridor. The area of concern is along and north of a line from
Baton Rouge eastward to Pascagoula. The main threats would be
large hail and damaging winds.

A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect for all coastal waters
tonight beginning at 9 pm CST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Small Craft Advisories will be in effect for all coastal waters
Thursday morning. The advisory has been extended through Friday
night for most of the offshore coastal waters.

At 325 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Centreville to Prairie
Ronde. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
New Roads, Jackson, St. Francisville, Clinton, Centreville, Livonia,
Woodville, Slaughter, Fordoche, Morganza, Wilson, Norwood, Wakefield,
Spillman, Batchelor, Gillsberg, Felps and Lottie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

At 440 PM CST, a strong thunderstorm was located near Magnolia, or 7
miles southeast of Mccomb, moving east at 35 mph.

John E. Lewis Airport measured a gust of 48 mph at 433 pm CST.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.
