  South central Custer County in central Nebraska...

* Until 745 PM CDT

* At 705 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Merna, or 7 miles west of Broken Bow, moving south
  at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Custer County, including the following locations:
  Lodi.
