The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central Custer County in central Nebraska...

* Until 715 AM CDT

* At 151 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Estimated 2 to 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Weissert and Westerville. 

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 95 and 107.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM CDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL CUSTER COUNTY...

At 427 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain of 2 to 3 
inches fell across the warned area. While the heavy rain has ended, 
runoff from the earlier rainfall will create areas of flash flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Weissert and Westerville. 

This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 95 and 107.
