The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Vega Baja Municipality in Puerto Rico...

* Until 1145 PM AST

* At 844 PM AST, USGS river sensor continues to indicate Rio Cibuco 
  out of its bank. When the sensor surpass its flood stage route 2 
  between Vega Baja and Vega Alta are affected as well as route 675 
  and 676 which may also be impassable. Flash flooding is expected 
  to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

The heavy rain has ended. Flash flooding is no longer expected, but 
soils remain very moist and minimal rain amounts will cause 
additional flooding concerns. Conditions will need to be monitored 
closely over the coming hours. Please continue to heed any remaining 
road closures.
