is cancelled.
* At 9:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
to rise to near 14.6 feet by Sunday morning. additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands
along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the U.S.
Highway 221 bridge. The water covers the low portion and entrance
of Towns Bluff Lane by the bridge. The public boat ramp is under
two feet of water. Flood waters expand further into south
Montgomery County around 1.5 miles upstream from the gage. The
water will be one to two feet deep over portions of Three Rivers
Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
occurs in the woodlands along the river upstream and downstream
from the gage on the U.S. Highway 221 bridge. The water reaches the
top of the public boat ramp by the bridge. Flood waters expand in
low lying areas in south Montgomery County around 1.5 miles
upstream from the gage. The water will begin to cover portions of
Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Bankfull conditions occur along the river
upstream and downstream from the gage on the U.S. Highway 221
bridge. Some flooding begins in low lying areas around 1.5 miles
upstream from the gage in south Montgomery County. The water will
approach portions of Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and
Ogle Sandbar Road.

Have added isolated thunderstorms over inland north FL for
later tonight based on recent radar trends and lightning data.
Prior discussion...
The broken line of strong to severe thunderstorms that affected
the region today has moved well out into the coastal waters. A
summary of storm reports will be forthcoming this evening.
We are still expecting a low chance of showers the rest of the
tonight as sfc troughing pivots around the main sfc low at an
impressive 983 mb over nrn GA and ern TN. This low will slowly
push eastward through Monday. Any remaining thunderstorms are
expected to push further out across the outer coastal waters over
the next hour. Pres gradient associated with the strong low will
continue to produce gusty winds of 25 to 35 mph tonight and
continue into Monday. Wrap around moisture will continue to
produce areas of low clouds through tonight as well.

.AVIATION...Prevailing VFR expected tonight though there is a
small chance of MVFR cigs. A better chance of MVFR cigs for TAFS
for Monday...mainly after 14z/15z as wrap around moisture from
aforementioned sfc low moves through the region. Sfc winds
