...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Big Blue River...East Fork White River...Fall Creek...Muscatatuck 
  River...Wabash River...White River...


.Lowland flooding is ongoing across the upper portions of the White
and Wabash Rivers and along smaller streams and rivers in east
central and southern Indiana. Flooding will continue to spread
downstream along the White as far south as Hazelton and on the
Wabash as far south as Montezuma.

Significant flooding is not expected.  Flooding of one to four feet
above flood stage is expected.  Flooding should end by Tuesday on
the Wabash and Friday for the southern stretches of the White.

Radar estimates indicate rainfall of up to about 3 inches fell in
portions of central Indiana on Friday, with some isolated higher
amounts. The heaviest rainfall fell along a southwest to northeast
swath from near Greencastle in Putnam County to Fishers in Hamilton
County to Muncie and Ridgeville in Delaware and Randolph counties
respectively.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

Covington and areas upstream.

Some rain is possible on Monday, but should remain light and is not
expected to affect current flooding.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Fall Creek...Muscatatuck River...Wabash 
  River...White River...



.Lowland flooding is ongoing across the upper portions of the White
and Wabash Rivers. Flooding will continue to spread downstream along
the White as far south as Hazelton and on the Wabash as far south as
Montezuma.  The White has crested in Noblesville and areas upstream
and the Wabash has crested in Covington and areas upstream.

Significant flooding is not expected.  Flooding of one to four feet
above flood stage is expected.  Flooding should end by Tuesday on
the Wabash and next weekend for the southern stretches of the White.

Some rain is possible on Monday, but should remain light and is not
expected to affect current flooding.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

High pressure will keep it cool and mostly dry through the middle of
next week. There is a small chance of thunderstorms Monday afternoon
and evening, however as an upper trough moves through. An
increasingly warmer and moist southerly flow and an approaching cold
front will result in warmer temperatures and thunderstorm chances
starting Wednesday night.

The diurnal cu will dissipate after 9 pm and leave behind mostly
clear skies. Gusty west winds will drop off to 5 knots or less
overnight. This should allow temperatures to drop all the way to the
lower and middle 50s overnight per the blend.

.SHORT TERM /Sunday through Tuesday/...
Issued at 211 PM EDT Fri Jun 23 2017

Main focus for the short term will be on temperatures, cloud cover
and timing and coverage of any convection.

A cold front will sweep southeast across central Indiana on Sunday
as an upper trough pivots across the Great Lakes. However, with
moisture limited to a shallow layer around 850 millibars, do not
think there will be anything more than a scattered to broken diurnal
cu deck. High pressure and sunset will then allow for clearing
Sunday night. Then, a stronger upper trough will pivot across the
Great Lakes Monday afternoon and night. This may be enough to spark
some afternoon and evening convection. Models were hinting at weak
instability but enough to warrant thunder mention. Only slightly
deeper moisture would suggest no more than isolated activity.

Surface high pressure will build in and strengthen over the Ohio
Valley on Tuesday. This should allow clearing skies Monday night. Cu
development progs indicate little diurnal cu potential on Tuesday
and with moisture become more shallow and subsidence over the area,
look for mostly sunny or sunny skies.

Regional blend temperatures in pretty good agreement and look
reasonable given low level thermal progs and plenty of daytime sun
and little nighttime cloud cover.

.LONG TERM (Tuesday Night through Saturday)...

Temperatures will be back near seasonal normals and the pattern may
once again turn active mid week onward as flow aloft becomes more
zonal with multiple weak disturbances and a surface frontal system

weather.

Hazards: High water.

Timing: Flooding through the period.

Discussion: High pressure will bring drier, cooler, weather. Water
from heavy rain yesterday will need time to move downstream.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible Monday and Monday night, and
again Wednesday night into Friday. It is too early to say if any
will be severe.

Flooding will gradually abate.

Discussion: Although cold fronts may trigger some storms, high
pressure should cause dry weather most of the time.
