...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for portions of the following rivers in western and southern
Indiana...
East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...
.Elevated river levels and lowland flooding will return to western
and southern Indiana as a result of locally heavy rains. Flooding
along portions of the Wabash...East Fork White and Muscatatuck Rivers
is not expected to exceed levels experienced early this month.
Flooding will last from 1 to 3 days.
Late Friday morning...streams were beginning to rise. Some areas in
north central, central and southeast Indiana had received 1 to more
than 3 inches of rain since Thursday afternoon. Additional rains of
more than one-half of an inch is possible by this evening.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Lowland flooding is beginning along the White River in the vicinity
of Anderson, Indiana in central Indiana as of Friday evening and will
be developing at points downstream in the Indianapolis area as we
head through the weekend and into the new work week. Additional flood
warnings may become necessary further downstream.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will affect
parks, campgrounds, agricultural land, and some local and state
roads.
Radar estimates indicate rainfall of up to about 3 inches
fell in portions of central Indiana, with some isolated
higher amounts. The heaviest rainfall fell along a southwest to
northeast swath from near Greencastle in Putnam County to Fishers in
Hamilton County to Muncie and Ridgeville in Delaware and Randolph
counties respectively.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Lowland flooding has begun along the White River in the vicinity
of Anderson and the Wabash near Lafayette. Flooding will continue
to spread downstream through the weekend and early next week.
Flooding is also ongoing along smaller streams and rivers across
Central Indiana.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will affect
parks, campgrounds, agricultural land, and some local and state
roads. Flooding of one to four feet above flood stage is expected.
Radar estimates indicate rainfall of up to about 3 inches
fell in portions of central Indiana, with some isolated

Indiana...

.Lowland flooding is ongoing across the upper portions of the White
and Wabash Rivers and along smaller strems and rivers in east
central and southern Indiana. Flooding will continue to spread
downstream along the White as far south as Petersburg and on the
Wabash as far south as Montezuma.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding of one to four feet
above flood stage is expected. Flooding should end by Tuesday on
the Wabash and Thursday for the southern stretches of the White.
Radar estimates indicate rainfall of up to about 3 inches
fell in portions of central Indiana, with some isolated
higher amounts. The heaviest rainfall fell along a southwest to
northeast swath from near Greencastle in Putnam County to Fishers in
Hamilton County to Muncie and Ridgeville in Delaware and Randolph
counties respectively.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...
Big Blue River...East Fork White River...Fall Creek...Muscatatuck
River...Wabash River...White River...
.Lowland flooding is ongoing across the upper portions of the White
and Wabash Rivers and along smaller streams and rivers in east
central and southern Indiana. Flooding will continue to spread
downstream along the White as far south as Hazelton and on the
Wabash as far south as Montezuma.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding of one to four feet
above flood stage is expected. Flooding should end by Tuesday on
the Wabash and Friday for the southern stretches of the White.
Radar estimates indicate rainfall of up to about 3 inches fell in
portions of central Indiana on Friday, with some isolated higher
amounts. The heaviest rainfall fell along a southwest to northeast
swath from near Greencastle in Putnam County to Fishers in Hamilton
County to Muncie and Ridgeville in Delaware and Randolph counties
respectively.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...
East Fork White River...Fall Creek...Muscatatuck River...Wabash
River...White River...
.Lowland flooding is ongoing across the upper portions of the White
and Wabash Rivers. Flooding will continue to spread
downstream along the White as far south as Hazelton and on the
Wabash as far south as Montezuma. The White has crested in
Noblesville and areas upstream and the Wabash has crested in
Covington and areas upstream.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding of one to four feet
above flood stage is expected. Flooding should end by Tuesday on
the Wabash and next weekend for the southern stretches of the White.
Some rain is possible on Monday, but should remain light and is not
expected to affect current flooding.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.
