* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Clay County in west central Indiana...
  Owen County in west central Indiana...

* Until 100 PM EDT

* At 956 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area....with estimates of up to 1.5 
  inches of rainfall since 845 am EDT. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Spencer, Clay City, Gosport, Center Point, Patricksburg, Cory,
  Saline City, Bowling Green, Quincy, McCormicks Creek State Park,
  Cagles Mill Lake and Devore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 PM EDT FOR
CENTRAL CLAY AND OWEN COUNTIES...

At 1126 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain had moved out of the warned area. Doppler radar estimates 
of 2 inches of rainfall extended in a swath across central Clay 
County and into northern Owen County. Flash flooding is likely 
occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Spencer, Clay City, Gosport, Center Point, Patricksburg, Cory, Saline
City, Bowling Green, Quincy, McCormicks Creek State Park, Cagles Mill
Lake and Devore.
