* At 652 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located just west of Hanna City, or 12 miles west of
Peoria, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

CENTRAL TAZEWELL AND SOUTHWESTERN PEORIA COUNTIES...
At 701 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located just south of Hanna City, or 10 miles northwest of
Pekin, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. At 657 pm, golfball size hail and
70 mph winds were reported in Hanna City by trained
spotters.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

PEORIA COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 715 PM CDT...
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
allowed to expire. However, large hail and damaging winds remain
likely and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the
area.
A severe thunderstorm watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT
for central and west central Illinois.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Lincoln.
