This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois and east central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Hot and humid conditions will prevail through early this evening
with Heat Index values of 105 to 110. Slightly cooler and less
humid air will filter in on Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening. A few of the
storms may produce gusty winds, torrential rainfall and frequent
lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday. A few
of the storms will be capable of producing strong wind gusts
during the afternoon and early evening hours.

As another frontal boundary approaches the area later Wednesday
and Thursday, the chances for thunderstorms will increase across
the area.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY UNTIL
MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1120 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking two strong thunderstorm,
moving southeast at 30 mph. One near Marshall and one near Charleston

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Marshall, Martinsville, Westfield, Clarksville, West Union, Darwin
and Lincoln Trail State Park.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 134 and 149.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

CLARK AND NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTIES UNTIL 1215 AM CDT...

At 1127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Charleston, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Charleston, Casey, Ashmore, Westfield, Hutton, Fox Ridge State Park
and Union Center.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 127 and 133.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
