...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR WESTERN HARDIN COUNTY...

At 715 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast 
of Alger, moving southeast at 25 mph. At 714 PM, there was a public 
report of quarter size hail Mcguffey. 

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 
         damage to trees and power lines. 

Locations impacted include...
Kenton, Alger, Roundhead, Mount Victory, Mcguffey, Ridgeway, Silver
Creek, Mentzer, Jumbo, Huntersville, Walton and State Route 195 at
State Route 235.

FOR SOUTHWESTERN HARDIN COUNTY...

At 721 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Belle Center, 
moving southeast at 25 mph. At 707 PM, an additional report of 
quarter size hail was reported in Alger. 

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

.SYNOPSIS...
A cold front dropping south through the Great Lakes will bring
a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to the region
tonight into the early part of the the work week. Temperatures
will be near normal for the next couple of days, then a gradual
increase in heat and humidity is expected going into the second
half of the work week.

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM MONDAY MORNING/...
Convection has been sparse across the srn Great Lakes so far
this afternoon ahead of a weak front. Still expect a little
development down into the region this evening as the front sags
a little farther south and H5 s/w works into Ohio. Once again
slowed down the onset of the pcpn, pretty much starting it
around 00Z in the nw.

Don't feel that it will develop into anything widespread. Kept
PoPs overnight in the 20 to 30 range at the highest. Clouds
should increase overnight behind the front as it works farther
south. There could be some fog development north of I-70
tonight as temperatures reach the dewpoints. Expect lows tonight
to be generally in the mid 60s.

.SHORT TERM /6 AM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT/...
By Monday morning the upper s/w will be east of the region, but
a sfc trof will be lingering across the ern zones. As the
atmosphere heats up, there should be enough convergence for some
scattered cells to pop. Chance PoPs look sufficient at this
time. Highs will range from around 80 in the nw, to the mid 80s
in the south.

A few storms could linger into the evening hours, but overall
expect Monday night be dry, with lows in the lower to mid 60s.

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
The long term will be a summertime pattern with warm and humid
conditions for much of the time period.  Tuesday will be the coolest
day with high temperatures expected to be in the low to mid 80s. A
diffuse washed out frontal boundary will be in place at the start of
the long term therefore some patchy fog will be possible Tuesday
morning.

With a weak frontal boundary in the vicinity Tuesday afternoon
cannot rule out an isolated shower or storm along and south of the
Ohio River.  Moisture should be limited however and remain primarily
south of the region.  Due to this limited precipitation chances to a
slight chance.

The heat and humidity will be on the increase for Wednesday with
southwesterly flow.  Temperatures Wednesday through Sunday are
expected to generally be in the middle 80s to low 90s.  Heat index
values across portions of the area will be in the middle 90s to
around 100.  With some uncertainty with clouds and convection will
leave heat index values out of the hazardous weather outlook at this
time, however will continue to monitor as the week progresses.

The area will be in northwest flow aloft for Wednesday through
Saturday.  During this time expect multiple disturbances to work
down into the region in the northwest flow.  Although there will be
off and on chances for precipitation, Friday night looks to be the
best chance for shower and thunderstorm activity.  Additional
thunderstorm chances will be present for Sunday with unstable
airmass.

.AVIATION /19Z SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/...
Satellite and radar is picking an area of VFR cigs moving thru
the Cinci Tr-State, which might contain a few sprinkles.

H5 s/w is forecast to dig out of the Great Lakes into nrn Ohio
tonight. Scattered to isolated convection is expected ahead of
the s/w, but with the loss of daytime heating it will become
spotty after 00Z. Only carried a VCSH at the nrn TAFS for the
first part of the night.

Models then lower cigs to IFR as moisture increases towards
morning. MVFR fog will also be an issue at the nrn TAFS in the
same time frame. Meanwhile expect river valley fog again at LUK
with IFR conditions.

Cigs will try and rise tomorrow morning as the low level
moisture burns off, but expect periods of MVFR cigs in the
morning.

For the 30 hr CVG tafs, added VCTS after 17Z.

OUTLOOK...Thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and again
Friday.
