This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop through
the late evening and early overnight. Frequent cloud-to-ground
lightning, gusty winds, and heavy downpours will be possible with the
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

..Monday...Severe weather with flash flooding possible. A cold front
will move into the region from the northwest on Monday and slowly
cross the region Monday night. Strong to severe thunderstorms with
quarter-size hail and brief, damaging winds will be possible during
the afternoon and evening hours. Very heavy rainfall will be
possible with the thunderstorms as well, and isolated flash flooding
may develop in areas repeatedly affected by thunderstorms.

miles northwest of Huntersville, or near Denver, moving northeast at
30 mph.

Statesville, Mocksville, Mooresville, Maiden, Westport, Troutman,
Cooleemee, Cleveland, Catawba and Harmony.

Heavy downpours, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and pea size hail will be
possible over these areas.
