SOUTH CENTRAL HENDERSON...NORTHWESTERN GREENVILLE AND NORTHEASTERN
PICKENS COUNTIES UNTIL 100 AM EDT...

At 1222 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles north of Pickens, or near Table Rock State Park, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Table Rock State Park, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Caesars Head State
Park, Jones Gap State Park, Dupont State Forest, Slater-Marietta,
Pumpkintown, Cleveland, Cedar Mountain and Crab Creek.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph and dime size hail will be possible in these
areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio and tv
stations, as well as local cable tv outlets for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 1228 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from 7 miles northwest of Clarkesville to 6 miles
north of Homer, and moving north at 90 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Toccoa, Clayton, Clarkesville, Mountain City, Tiger, Dillard,
Tallulah Falls, MOCCASIN CREEK STATE PARK, Lake Burton and Moccasin
Creek State Park.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and dime size hail will be possible in these
areas.
