Snow totals are expected to range from 2 to 4 inches over Vilas County and 1 to 2 inches farther south and east. This new snow will likely lead to slippery stretches on area roadways. The next weather system is forecast to bring a chance of light snow to the region late Friday night. As warmer air arrives on Saturday, the snow will become mixed with or change to all rain over eastern Wisconsin, before changing back to light snow Saturday night.
