This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a good chance for thunderstorms tonight, especially
before 3 am. Severe thunderstorms are possible, with hail up to
the size of golf balls and wind up to 60 mph possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There will be a slight chance of a few departing thunderstorms
Thursday morning primarily south of Highway 30. Severe weather is
not expected.

The next chance for thunderstorms will return again late Friday
night and last through Saturday night. Severe weather is not
expected.

a line extending from near Eustis to 7 miles north of Smithfield to 6
miles southwest of Miller. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Holdrege, Bertrand, Elwood, Overton, Loomis, Smithfield and Johnson
Lake.

Boelus, or 20 miles northwest of Grand Island, moving south at 30
mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Wood River, Shelton, Doniphan, Cairo and Alda.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 293 and 311.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
