Widespread thunderstorms will affect much of North and Central Texas this morning. Gusty winds and frequent lightning will accompany the stronger cells. In addition, heavy rainfall may pose a flooding threat, particularly in areas that saw significant rainfall overnight. Redevelopment of thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, with the better chances across Central and East Texas. Lightning and flooding issues will be the primary hazards. Additional thunderstorm activity will be possible tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Mainly daytime thunderstorms will be possible Sunday and Monday, particularly south of the I-20 corridor. Severe weather is not expected. Tuesday through Friday, afternoon thunderstorms may approach the region from the southeast. These are not expected to be strong, but lightning may impact outdoor activities. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. 25
