The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Llano County in south central Texas...

* Until 145 AM CDT

* At 1047 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have 
  already fallen in western Llano County across the Fernando, Elm, 
  and Keyser Creek river basins. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
  shortly. These tributaries will empty into the Llano river so 
  expect a river rise through the overnight as well. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Llano, Field Creek, Prairie Mountain, Valley Spring, Castell and
  Oxford.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the 
warned area over the next two to three hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT FOR
WESTERN LLANO COUNTY...

At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Upwards of 4 to 6 
inches of rain have fallen with isolated amounts of 7 inches 
possible.

Law Enforcement reported that a few county roads in western Llano 
were beginning to flood, especially in areas near low water crossings 
and usually dry stream beds.

Rainfall will continue through the next hour or two with 1 to 2 
inches possible in the warned area. Flooding conditions could worsen 
as rainfall run off continues to drain into area streams and 
rivers through the early morning hours.

Oxford.
